Welcome to KUBRICK ON THE WEB.
Once upon a time, and not too long a time ago it was, I had intended for this site to be a high-level index to any and all Web sites regarding the greatest of all filmmakers, the late Stanley Kubrick. However, work has kept me incredibly busy, and I have been unable to fulfill my self-proclaimed mandate. Luckily, others have stepped in to fill the gap, notably The Kubrick Site by G. Alexander and an update to this FAQ by R. Munday. In the meantime, this site has the complete Kubrick FAQ broken out question-by-question. At 159 typed pages when printed out, it has lots of food for thought. If you want a sample of the whole thing in PDF format, click on the link above.
Many have asked me the following questions by email, so I can save some time for myself, and those asking the questions in the future, by answering them here:
1) Do I know about what will happen to Kubrick's uncompleted films, like AI? Answer: no. I'd love to, though.
2) Is there a personal website for Stanley Kubrick? Answer: none I know of.
3) Do I have any screenplays besides 2001? Answer: no, but try Drew's Script-O-Rama.
4) Do I know where I can get a copy of Clockwork Orange or other videos? Answer: Blockbuster sells Clockwork Orange in the United States. There is a videotape of Kubrick directing, but I've never seen it, and don't know where it is.
5) Why don't I have any information on any Kubrick films before Dr. Strangelove? Answer: because I don't consider them true Kubrick films, in the sense that his later films are. Many people disagree with me, however. Boy, do they ever! Hey, I'm sorry, okay?
The main source of information here is the ALT.MOVIES.KUBRICK FAQ.

OTHER NEAT SITES
Another Kubrick FAQ by R. Munday. Well-done.
Kubrick articles, film scripts, interviews and original essays.
2001 and G-d: Two excellent essays I found on the Web regarding the relationship between 2001 and the idea of G-d. What you will read here is most . . . illuminating.
